I’ve always loved the feeling of leaving an amusement park at the end of the day. Walking through a quiet, light-filled park toward the exit with music playing in the background is one of my favorite childhood memories. Looking back, I realize how these spaces made me feel fully present within their world.

Through this book, I explore how amusement parks shape human experience and how they draw people into immersive spaces.

The book is divided into 5 chapters: History of Fantasy World, Why We Seek These Worlds, Children Again, Design the Scene, and The Shadow of Fantasy.

Full bleed photograph of people enjoying rides and its dynamic composition along with dotted lines that trace the movement of the rides, conveys the excitement and energy of the amusement park experience.

The overall color palette is inspired by the joyful and vibrant atmosphere of amusement parks, combining pastel rainbow tones with selectively saturated colors. Each color is applied to a chapter, reflecting shifts in atmosphere similar to moving through different areas of an amusement park.

Geometric shapes, dotted lines, and diagram elements create a playful, childlike atmosphere. These shapes form patterns, while dotted lines suggest movement through the amusement park. At the same time, these systematic use creates an informative quality, similar to a park map that guides visitors through different areas.
